The Tongass National Forest covers most of Southeast Alaska and is full of beautiful places, unique people, great fish and wildlife, and incredible adventures.

​Share what you do in the Tongass for a chance to win some fishy prizes!

Share your best photo with us that captures life in the Tongass National Forest region. We want to see the wild places where you love to adventure and/or call home.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Photo contest is from July 15 - 26, 2019. 
  • All photos must be submitted to Kayla.Roys@TU.org, you will receive a confirmation to the email within two days that it was received.  
  • All photos must be titled with photographer's name and the photo location (we realize you may not want to give exact locations. That is fine; a general area is perfect!) 
  • All photos must be taken on the Tongass National Forest. 
  • Submitted photos must be your own. 
  • The top five submission winners will be chosen by America’s Salmon Forest to receive a variety of prizes including shirts, stickers and hats and announced on social media.  
  • By submitting your photo, you grant permission for America’s Salmon Forest and Trout Unlimited Alaska to use your photo, credited to your name, to help protect the Tongass on social media after the contest period has ended.
  • Please be respectful. If submitting photos of others, make sure you have their permission. 
  • Two entries per person are allowed. 
  • Winners will be notified the week of July 31, 2019 via email. 
  • Failure to accept your prize (verbally or written) within 30 days forfeits your winnings.
